Who is covered by the insurance?

The insurance covers employees undertaking an assignment abroad, as well as accompanying family members. A health declaration must be completed and signed by the person to be insured; this also applies to family members. Please note that if a child is born during the insurance period, a health declaration must be completed and sent to If immediately after the birth.

When does the insurance apply?

The insurance is valid 24 hours a day while the person is covered by the policy.

Where does the insurance apply?

The insurance applies in the country in which the employee is stationed. You must inform If of any change to the country of stationing. The policy also applies for travel outside the country of stationing to anywhere in the world, except those countries or areas to which the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises against travel.

Download Insurance Certificate

Your Insurance Certificate is used if you need to present a certificate of insurance, for example when applying for a visa.

Download Travel Card

Complete and print the "Travel Card" before departure and you will have an insurance certificate to present in the event of injury.

Visa for Russia

An original insurance certificate is required when applying for a visa for Russia.
Note that you must write your full name, exactly as it is written in your passport.
